About us...A message from the chief:First off, I want to personally thank you for taking the time to visit my website and consider the services we offer here. I hope that, in return, I can personally help you solve that pesky error that continually pop-ups on your desktop or that general slow-down you've noticed the past few weeks or whatever the issue you may have.
I could give you pages and pages of reason's why to use our service, but instead I'll suggest you take us for a test drive. That's what the 'New Customer Special' is all about.
Once you try us out, I'm convinced you'll become a long time customer. 'One-time' customers are very and few and far between here. The convenience, low cost, and great service is something you'll remember the next time you have a computer issue.
My goal is to take care of your technology needs.
If while I'm troubleshooting your issue, I see you don't have virus protection, you can rest assured I'm going to point it out. Not because I think I'll make a buck, but because I care. The data on your PC is important, and I've seen enough users after-the-fact that forgot to use proper preventative maintenance and they ended up paying the price. Heck, it's even happened to me (that's a tough thing for an IT consultant to admit) so I know the pain. It can take months to TRY and rebuild what you've lost but, in most cases, you never regain most of those losses. I lost some digitial pictures of my kids 8 years ago to a hard drive crach and that incident STILL causes me to get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.
And I could also tell you the sad but true story of the small business that had a hard drive crash, lost all of their data, orders didn't go out, they lost several customers, and ended up going bankrupt nine short months later. This was NOT one my customers. If I can give you some basic tips that will spare you from that kind of loss (or maybe even worse), I'll make it my resposibilty and duty to do so. As an IT Consultant / technician, I have never lost a client due to negligence or incompetence. The only reason I can think of that I've ever lost a client was due to the fact that they grew their business to the point where they needed a full-time IT Department or 'Uncle Charlie', the family computer guy, started doing freebie work them. (actually, I got that client back last week :)
I don't look at my clients as a form of revenue. I honestly care about them and their business. The fact that I get personally involved with the client and their needs is why I do what I do. I enjoy people. If the I can help you succeed and grow your business, then I'm a happy camper.
Rest assured, that any techs here that answers your 'call for help' will be held to the same standards that I hold myself. I look forward to taking your call.

Lead Support Tech (and head honcho )
The following are my 'Rants' on subjects related to the IT support industry. Strictly an indulgent thing on my part. Read at your own risk: My Rant on Customer Service: Unfortunately, it seems that true customer service in the corporate world has become all but extinct. I remember the days back when Dell was the king of customer service and would go above and beyond to make sure the customer was taken care of. My Rant on Geeks: Now I have to admit that, yes, I am a geek. But what I think makes me different than your average geek is that I don't love computers. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate and respect computers. I think it's incredible what computers can do for people. Let's take a look at what a computer truly is: It's basically a bunch of ON / OFF switchs that can be programmed to perform useful functions. The potential for those functions are only limited by the input. In fact, as quantum computers start to become a reality, there is basically unlimited potential to what computers will be capable of. That's one of the very few similarity to us humans. I wake up, and begin my day with the daily mantra "I am a geek that puts people before computers...I am NOT Nick Burns... and I will never yell 'MOVE!' at the customer." |
